Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Dr Mohammad Azari is an Australian trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon having completed his Cardiothoracic training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Liverpool Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. He has worked as a Cardiothoracic and Thoracic Surgeon both within Australia at Townsville University Hospital and abroad at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London.
He is a consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Liverpool and Wollongong Private Hospitals.
Dr Azari has a special interest in complex coronary surgeries including all-arterial, off-pump and on-pump coronary surgeries. He is also experienced in performing aortic surgeries, heart valve surgeries, and arrhythmia surgeries. He is a fully trained minimally invasive Thoracic Surgeon and is specialised in thoracoscopic (including single port access) thoracic surgery and robotic thoracic surgery.
Dr Azari provides a Cardiothoracic service to both private and public patients within Sydney, the Illawarra and Southern Highlands.
